![]() ![]() Many time and attendance tracking apps these days will capture your clock-in and clock-out locations, and all the solutions mentioned in this article can do that. We’ve listed a few of the features we think you may want to pay attention to so that you can opt for the app that suits your needs. Most time and attendance systems these days will do more than simply clocking in and out. Other Useful Face Recognition Attendance App Features You May Need An essential factor in achieving successful recognition is how the employee presents him/herself to the time clock. Our face recognition works well with any skin complexion. The Fareclock mobile app could detect my face in a well-lit location. It is usual for a dark-skinned person like me to wonder if face recognition will work. My punch-ins were flagged as failures, probably because I did not know what PIN to enter while attempting to clock in. On the web dashboard page, when logged in as an admin, the Fareclock software allows you to approve or decline failed entries. I couldn’t find where to do that, so I had to dig into the documentation a little more to figure it out. The other confusing part was where I needed to enter the PIN. Next, it prompts you to take a photo of your face to ensure that you are the right person clocking in. The admin portal was not very clear on how to do that. I wasn’t sure if it was capturing my face for registration purposes or was trying to clock me in. Once you tap on the “Employee start screen,” it pulls up a camera that can capture your face. Using an iPhone 11 Pro Max, I downloaded the iOS app and proceeded to clock in. ![]() I found the design to be very convenient and well-thought-out. Once I logged in on the web dashboard, I had no problems downloading the mobile app. The Fareclock interface seems very clean and organized. The mobile app runs smoothly on both iOS and Android phones. You can assign special codes to different devices to know which device each user may punch in and out from.įareclock comes with a set of features that allow you to track time accurately. Employees are given a PIN, while the photo capture is also enabled to ensure the right person is clocking in and out.Ĭonfiguring the Timeero terminal and face recognition attendance feature is easy and straightforward. The Timeero Terminal (the kiosk version of Timeero) can be configured to support face recognition authentication. The Face Recognition feature on Timeero can be turned on by configuring the settings in Timeero. When the artificial intelligence algorithm determines that the face doesn't match the right person, it flags that time entry and sends a notification to the administrator. ![]() Once their baseline photo is registered in the system, the software will use it for comparison with all new photos before they clock in. Your employees will take a baseline or registration photo of themselves. With our sophisticated face recognition attendance app, you can finally get rid of buddy punching. If you are looking to improve employee attendance and hold your team members accountable, Timeero is the right choice for you. Timeero is the ultimate time, mileage, and GPS tracking app with face recognition functionality. ![]() Using biometric technology, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms, the face detection tool can confirm whether the images match. The newly captured photo is compared to the biometric photo in the file or the baseline photo. Then when it’s time to clock in, the user takes a real-time photo of their face. The general way face recognition attendance apps work is that users enroll by taking a baseline picture of their face - ideally, a clear picture of themselves in a well-lit environment to capture all the facial features. If you prefer to make this “ice cube” style, keep the ratio as it is. Less kanten powder will result in jelly that would jiggle (プルプルって感じ) and it will go through your throat smoothly. If you do so, I highly recommend chopping fruits into smaller cubes, making the jelly in individual cups or a large baking pan, and serving with a spoon. If you prefer softer jelly textures that are not firm like my fruit jelly today, you can reduce the amount of kanten powder to 2 grams (half the package). More explanation on this is in the next section. Today’s recipe requires us to cut around the fruits, so the jelly is designed to set firmer and it won’t jiggle as much. That way, the jelly is softer and jiggly. If you decide to serve this jelly in individual cups, reduce the amount of kanten powder to 2 grams. I usually make my fruit jelly that way and they look really pretty in a glass container. This removable inner tray makes it easy for you to un-mold the food, especially if the food easily sticks to the container. However, kanten is vegetarian and vegan-friendly, and it’s a great alternative to animal or chemical-based gelatin. If you want to know more about kanten, please read my Kanten Page. Based on the latest estimate I might have a functional kitchen in 2 weeks… I just can’t wait. This quick and easy dessert recipe has been in my mind to share for quite a while and now is a perfect time as I am still kitchen-less. The see-through jelly reminds me of ice cubes and it makes me feel cool instantly, as I imagine the chilled jelly with refreshing fruits in my mouth. Practically speaking, a container is where you put all your application code along with its dependencies packed in such a way that it would execute on any Linux box. You can consider the container as an Application System (in contrast to Operating System). namely, the Operating System!Įvery VM still had the OS installed, and you still had to manage and allocate resources for the entire OS!!! In simple terms, it didn’t help with the licensing cost involved with the Operating Systems at all. Whereas VMs helped reduce the physical footprint of a server in terms of space, installation, CAPEX, OPEX, etc. What is a Container?Ĭontainers take it to the next level so you can consider them as an evolutionary step. if the physical server had 1 TB of Disk and 16 CPU cores, you can spin up 4 VMs with 250 GB and 4 CPU cores each. This was because every VM needed to have hardware allocated explicitly to it. VMs were a smart idea at the time, but it still led to a lot of wasted resources like Disk, Memory and CPU. All the VMs work and feel exactly like the physical server, but with lesser resources! For instance, if an application on a server was using 20% resource, you can host upto 5 similar applications on a single physical server. With VMs, instead of one application per physical server, you can have multiple applications on the same server using virtual machines. ![]() This wastage of computing resources was the need why solutions like virtual machines (or VMs) cropped up.įor simplicity, just assume that every major application you have needs ONE full blown server to provide decent isolation. There's something casual and a little less anti-social about this setup, versus more isolating headsets designed for solitary, heavy-duty gaming. I used the Recon Chat headset for a lengthy Battlefield 1 session while writing this review and found myself enjoying the "classic" TV and mono-piece headset design. This is one aspect where the Recon Chat headset beat my expectations. I also tested this headset on PC, and it seemed to work adequately as an in-line microphone, despite not being advertised as such.Īs much as I like the headset's over-the-ear design, no chat headset, $20 or not, is worth buying without decent audio quality. ![]() Additionally, the in-line audio controls ensure the Recon Chat headset remains compatible with mobile devices and PlayStation. I feel that this beats the audio control base seen by the official Xbox Chat headset, because it doesn't add to the controller's footprint. The cable also sports some convenient in-line audio controls. A straight connector would have been the logical option, like those on virtually every other Turtle Beach Xbox headset I've used, but it's a minor gripe. It's odd that the company used this connection type, given that the headset is designed to be plugged into your Xbox controller. Thankfully, the positioning doesn't impede the audio, as I'll discuss in the next section, but it would've been nice to have a little more control over this aspect.īeyond the headset itself, the cabling for the Recon headset works well, though I'm not a huge fan of the right-angle connector used for the 3.5mm jack. The plastics used are far too flexible, making positioning almost impossible. There isn't really a skill curve, so once you get the hang of playing there's no real sense of challenge to keep the game itself engaging. Jumpy frames may lead to an unintended and frustrating game-over, or keep you from finishing a daily challenge if you miss a dodge due to a framerate issue.īeyond that, Subway Surfers isn't hugely difficult. ![]() Otherwise, this may be a minor gripe, but framerate issues in an endless runner can seriously detract from gameplay. ![]() Chief among these flaws is the game's framerate issues. Subway Surfers does have quite a lot going for it as a free downloadable app, but that surface style masks a few major flaws. You can get a crew together with your friends and compete for the highest score. As an added bonus, Snapchat users should check out a multiplayer Subway Surfers mode available via the app. In addition to the challenge modes, you can also take a looser approach and give the Arcade Mode a try. The challenges put the focus on endurance, so you'll want to keep on running. ![]() The game's rotating slate of daily challenges will also keep you coming back for more. You'll want to keep on going so you can unlock that next item or character. It's easy to play in short bursts if you've got a bit of time on your hands, but you might also find yourself getting lost in long binging sessions as you dodge the oncoming trains and ride the rails over and over. Easier controls mean you can stay alive longer, and thus, keep on playing.īoth of these factors contribute to how addicting this game is. Visuals aside, the simple controls also set the game apart, making for a much more intuitive experience. You'll take to the chase and escape from the law all in gorgeous HD graphics. There's always something new and engaging to look at, and you'll want to keep on playing just so you can keep taking in those eye-catching visuals seeing all the new characters and content that you can unlock. The cartoony HD graphics and bright environments are a huge draw, making it easy to lose yourself in the world of Subway Surfers. It's definitely safe to say that Subway Surfers' major strong point is the visual style. The real-money aspects of the game aren't at the forefront, and it avoids the pay-to-win feel that some other free-to-play apps fall into. Though paying up does make the game slightly easier, you won't be missing much if you'd rather save your cash. Though Subway Surfers is of course totally free, players that want to spend real-life currency can buy additional in-game cosmetics and power-ups. You'll also be able to unlock new characters like Tricky & Fresh, and there's an entire library of custom cosmetic content to select from. You'll gather coins as you run, which you can cash in on powerups like jetpacks or hoverboards that will get you farther and help dodge obstacles.Īnother unique style change is the ability to customize the power-ups as well, using unique skins like the Jive Outfit that can be unlocked during gameplay. This improved game-feel is aided by the game's slate of powerups. It's an ostensibly small difference but leads to a much better game-feel overall. The swipe-to-move mechanic is a welcome change from screen-tilting mechanics in competitors like Temple Run, giving you way more precision and control over your movements. Gameplay is pretty standard for an endless runner: Jake will keep running forward while you swipe left and right to dodge obstacles in your path. Playing as Jake, you'll need to use your swiping skills to make it through an endless gauntlet of subway rails and grind trains to escape the clutches of the law. A far cry from drab and lifeless, Subway Surfers introduces players to a vibrant, colorful world full of eye-catching environments and unique characters. ![]() 8/8/2023 0 Comments Reactxp peer dependencies![]() ![]() #1041: Fixed textDecorationStyle and textDecorationColor on web.#891: Fixed bad interaction between RX.Clipboard.getText() and iOS Safari.#1055: Fixed crash due to incompatibilty with newly-released RN 59.Version 1.6.0 of reactxp-imagesvg, reactxp-navigation, reactxp-video. #1063: Fixed regression in reactxp-navigation.#1066: Fixed video extension to support react-native local assets. ![]()
8/8/2023 0 Comments Jessie zazu![]() ![]() Despite predictions from the music press that the band would fold without Wood, who had been the driving force behind the creation of ELO, Lynne stepped up to lead the band, with Bevan, Edwards, Gibson and Tandy (who had switched from bass to keyboards to replace Hunt) remaining from the previous line-up, and new recruits Mike de Albuquerque and Colin Walker joining the band on bass and cello, respectively. ![]() ![]() However, Arden would manage Wizzard, despite Wood's negative comments towards Arden. Both cited problems with their manager, Don Arden, who Wood felt failed in his role, and an unsatisfactory tour of Italy, where the cellos and violins could not be heard over the electric instruments. Taking Hunt and McDowell with him, Wood left the band to form Wizzard. First Craig departed, and then Wood, during the recordings for the band's second LP. However, this line-up did not last for long. With both bands' albums in the stores simultaneously, the Move and ELO both appeared on television during this period.ĮLO's debut concert took place on 16 April 1972 at the Greyhound Pub in Croydon, Surrey, with a line-up of Wood, Lynne, Bevan, Bill Hunt (keyboards/French horn), Andy Craig (cello), Mike Edwards (cello), Wilfred Gibson (violin), Hugh McDowell (cello), and Richard Tandy (bass). "10538 Overture" became a UK top-ten hit. They were unavailable so she left a note reading "No answer". The name was chosen after a record company secretary had tried to ring the UK company to get the name of the album. It was released in the United States in March 1972 as No Answer. Only the trio of Wood, Lynne and Bevan played on all songs, with Bill Hunt supplying the French Horn parts and Steve Woolam playing violin. The resulting debut album The Electric Light Orchestra was released in December 1971. But to help finance the fledgling band, one further Move album, Message from the Country, was recorded during the lengthy ELO recordings and released in mid-1971. The original plan was to end The Move following the release of the Looking On album at the end of 1970, crossing over to the new unit in the new year. On 12 July 1970, when Wood added multiple cellos to a Lynne-penned song intended to be a Move B-side, the new concept became a reality and " 10538 Overture" became the first Electric Light Orchestra song. But in January 1970, when Carl Wayne quit the band, Lynne accepted Wood's second invitation to join, on the condition that they focus their energy on the new project. When Trevor Burton left the Move in February 1969, Lynne was asked by Wood to join, only to say no, as he was still focused on finding success with his band. Jeff Lynne, frontman of fellow Birmingham group The Idle Race, was excited by the concept. ![]() The orchestral instruments would be the main focus, rather than the guitars. In 1968, Roy Wood - guitarist, vocalist and songwriter of the Move - had an idea to form a new band that would use violins, cellos, string basses, horns and woodwinds to give their music a classical sound, allowing rock music to "pick up where the Beatles left off." in a new direction. Under the moniker Jeff Lynne's ELO they tour with additional musicians. Currently Jeff Lynne and keyboardist Richard Tandy are the only official members of the band. Formed in 1971, the group's original lineup included songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood and drummer Bev Bevan.
